The Winter Workshops #1 - Headshot Studio Skills for the New Year

This Full Day Studio Workshop will showcase the different shooting styles of four of the APHP's members and how they create the range of looks in their images.

Step inside a professional working headshot studio and join us as four of the UK's leading headshot photographers guide us through their individual shooting styles  - teaching us how they use light, direct models and approach the art of Headshots and Portraits in their various ways.

10am-4pm

The workshop will include:

ADAM HILLS will run us through how he approaches the ever fluctuating business of headshot photography with varied set-ups. 

NICHOLAS DAWKES will be talking us through his process from engaging with and directing actors, to the art of sculpting natural light and strobe flash together and adapting your surroundings for multiple setups.  

ROBIN SAVAGE will be teaching us on how he replicates window light using just continuous light and flash, ideal for working in small spaces and home studios.  

GARETH BAILEY is going to take us through a range of his 'go to' portfolio lighting setups that quickly and easily create variety within a clients shoot. He will alos be sharing his tips and tricks when working with and directing clients.
